Friday is Fragmented

  • We have a chat @ work, and there are at least 50 agents in it daily. Yesterday one of the women said this: "Hey Chris, all I need to do is boot my PC up with that dick in it right?" Nobody in the chat responded until Chris said "Yes just stick that DISC in"

  • Over heard while Mr.Darcy plays CounterStrikeOnline "Double teamed, just the way you like it."
  • Mr.Darcy "most controversial = WIN" When looking at Hoodies/slogans
  • I twittered this: I smell like Margarita, what do you smell like? I received these responses: Turkey,
I smells like apricots, not to be confused with aprilcots!, napalm in the morning, polyurethane varnish. And this conversation spawned from it. Cathy is feeling rather out-numbered right now :( WHERE ARE ALL THE GIRLS IN THIS BUILDING?!?!
Joshua: Girls smell. Apparently, Darci bathes in margaritas.
Cathy: well I cant say I blame her...but that's not the point...there's way too much testosterone chillin' around me
Joshua: Don't worry. Just give them food. They won't hurt you if you don't act like you are scared.
Janelle: Josh bathes in onion juice and beer, so it's okay that Darci bathes in margaritas.
Greg: So that's what that smell was all this time, thanks for clearing that up Janelle!
Dione: We are all out getting a tan. But listen to Josh just feed them and they won't bite! **these are people I work with**
EDIT: added the link to the wonderful creator to day's fun~

BON VOYAGE

So much I could say, some funny, some sad, some stupid. Most gossip about me.. But I will leave you with this. I am signing off. Expect for the Friday fragments and maybe an inspirational post set to auto post later. I probably won't publish personal life details on here for a while. You might get details later, we'll see how the next two weeks treats me.
But I will reading your blogs still and commenting. BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!

Till the next time. TTFN

Word of Wisdom

'To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.'

When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.
Think on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

There comes a point in your life when you realize:
Who matters,
Who never did,

Who won't anymore...

And who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past,

there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Fragmenting again this Friday

*^*^I am not finding my knitting relaxing right now, I think it's the mood I am in though, I keep having to redo everything. You would think knit one row, purl the 2nd, *(K2tog) 3 times, (yo, k1) 6 times, (k2tog) 3 times; repeat from * to end, the 3rd, and knit the 4th wouldn't be that hard. But I am working with straight needles.

*^*^I started training for a new skill today at work. Woot kind of sarcastic, on one hand I will be able to walk the floor and answer questions. On the other hand I have to trouble shoot 3 different services. Our customer's can tend to be so danged ornery. So do me a favor, next you need to call your service provider. Count to ten, run around the block and then come back and think about not ruining someone's night with your attitude. Thanks

*^*^We've had mist here, and not much sunniness, but we do see the sunlight a lot, when you are sleeping the in living room it's a pain the arse.

*^*^ We found another outbreak of mildew & mold, which means another ruined mattress

*^*^ A quote from work "I had a technian out and he said he fixed everything, but I didn't check my email, it's been broken for like 6 months." from a woman who sounded 70. Fact 1: Tech's don't fix touch email issues. Fact 2: Her email was fine. Fact 3: She couldn't forward something to her friend.
She couldn't even type in address in To: box. I was so desperate I asked my Team leader, "can I tell her that she needs to have a much younger friend over and we can trouble shoot it then??" But she was a darling, and finally gave up trying. after an hour

*^*^ Switching from a 5pm start time at work t to 12pm really throws your sleep schedule off. I think I slept for 4 hours last night, and Daxter is walking a thin edge, with his whinny "I am lost, I want outside meowing" every 2 hours. Time for cage sleeping training I think.

*^*^It's June already!!! My bff's baby is going to be two, already!! Now if I only I could remember the exact date.

If any of this is disjointed with poor grammar, just blame the headache and 4:30am writing.

Just Did It

Friday I went on a lovely date with my man, he took me to see Terminator, which we thoroughly enjoyed.(no spoilers here) After wandering through the mall on blistered feet, he asked me what I wanted to do. The only thing I could think of is "I want new shoes" So off we went trekking through  the two sports stores. Finding nothing to my liking in a price range I could swallow.
He found Puma's for me, but they are way to lightweight So I talked bribed him into going to Sports Check, plus then I could deposit all my government cheques.
Upon arriving on the opposite  side of the city, we found freezing cold wind. So off we ran to pursue the beautiful colors and shapes. I found a pair of Nike's but not in a color I liked, and the winning pair of Siren Sport Merrell's.
(not the exact color, mine have orange instead of white)

They where $20 cheaper then the Nike, plus not in White. They are a beautiful light brown, with orange and lovely mesh that is protected. I am very hard on shoes I've owned Merrell's before, and up until the point they fled my closet to never be seen again. Other then my Emu's, they rated in the top 2 for most comfortable.
While walking to the bank, Husband announced that I was taking him to B.P.'s for dinner. We shared a lovely salad with a side of Salmon (which was bland) because I'm trying to be healthy.

EDIT: For SmellyAnn.. Photos of my shoes :)

Wife of the week

Why I'm not winning the award:

Incident #1: I bought a few sources of protein and was cooking them up so that I could just whip something up later.
I bought blackberries belch, chemical tasting at 7.99 a container, and the sauce I purchased last time. I was thinking I would make a lovely dinner. I was informed that he doesn't like fish. Which of course gashed my ideas for dinner. Then it hits me, that's one of the things that we had agreed on in the early days of our courtship, neither of us likes seafood. But now I find he does like shrimp, and I enjoy a well flavored seafood dish. not the greasy fish & chips from around here
(on a side note, I redeemed myself by reheating the Italian sausages, and frying up eggs and setting out make your own wraps)

Incident #2: He walked down to meet me at work, but had forgotten his badge. So he waited outside on the bench. I helped someone with an escalation and then went to talk with Jay, I sat on his desk for a while and realized I should probably ring Husband, so I did and his reply was quite abrupt. Not thinking anything of it, about 10 mins later someone mentioned something about my man sitting on a bench outside. It didn't make sense to me, after hearing more details, turns out my man walked down to walk me home, and even stood waving at the windows where he could see us, but we never seen him. Man, did I feel bad. It was one long 5 min, cold walk home that night.

Incident #3: On Sunday his hamstrings were really sore and I jokingly said should I karate chop them? He replied with "yes", So I did. REALLY HARD. Opps, I think he might have teared up a little. I didn't realize how much force I had put into it. Like usual...
But I'm practicing to not be the woman in the video (embedding was disabled) It's a must watch.
